COROS PACE 4

Wearables & trackers

Desk-researchedScored from aggregated public data and our own scorecard. We have not handled this unit.

The PACE 3 formula with a bright AMOLED: still ultralight, accurate on GPS and good for up to 19 days, now with a microphone, an action button and, since the September 2026 update, offline maps in beta. It costs about 40 EUR more than the PACE 3 does now, which is the only real catch.

Pros

  • Bright 1.2" AMOLED (1,500 nits) in a 32 g package on the nylon band
  • Up to 19 days daily use and 41 h GPS, 16 h more GPS than the PACE 3
  • Offline maps (beta, Sept 2026 update), microphone for voice notes, action button

Cons

  • Pricier than the PACE 3 (about 268 EUR vs about 199 EUR street)
  • No NFC payments or music streaming; HR can wobble outside running

Who it's for

Buy it if…

You coach runners or triathletes and want accurate GPS, a readable AMOLED and two-plus weeks of battery at a mid-range price, without Garmin's markup.

Skip it if…

You want payments, music streaming or a premium metal build, or you're happy with a PACE 3, which does the core training job for less.

Launched on 10 November 2025 at 269 EUR, the COROS PACE 4 keeps what made the PACE 3 our value pick and fixes its weakest point: the display is now a 1.2-inch AMOLED at 1,500 nits. It still weighs about 32 g on the nylon band, COROS rates it for up to 19 days of daily use and 41 hours of GPS, and DC Rainmaker, Wareable and Tom’s Guide all found GPS and heart rate reliable for running. A new action button, a microphone for voice notes and, since COROS’s September 2026 update, offline maps (still in beta) round it out.

It is still a training tool first. There are no NFC payments and no music streaming, and Wareable and DC Rainmaker saw heart rate struggle in some non-running sessions, so a chest strap still helps for intervals and gym work. The bigger question is price: around 268 EUR at German retailers versus roughly 199 EUR for the PACE 3.

Compared with our COROS PACE 3 review, accuracy and features move up, and value comes down because the new model costs about a third more.
