The COROS PACE 3 remains one of the best value running watches you can buy. At around €199 it undercuts comparable Garmins while delivering dual-frequency GPS, a featherweight ~30 g build and up to 17 days of battery. Runners and triathletes get proper training tools — structured workouts, EvoLab load tracking and reliable data logging — without paying flagship money, which is why reviewers from TechRadar to 220 Triathlon rate it so highly on value.
It is not a lifestyle smartwatch: there is no touchscreen, no offline maps and notifications are basic. Since COROS launched the AMOLED PACE 4 in late 2025 and cut the PACE 3’s price, the PACE 3 is now the budget pick rather than the newest option — which is exactly why it is such strong value if pure running performance, low weight and battery life are what you care about.
