2. Hosting & server logs
This website is hosted on GitHub Pages (GitHub, Inc., 88 Colin P. Kelly Jr. Street, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA). When you visit, the host processes technically necessary access data (e.g. IP address, date/time, requested file, browser/device data) to deliver the site and ensure its security and stability. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in secure, efficient operation). Data may be transferred to the USA.
3. Newsletter (Sqwod Daily)
To send the newsletter we use beehiiv (beehiiv, Inc., USA). When you subscribe we process your email address and, as proof of consent, the time and IP address of your sign-up (double opt-in). Legal basis: your consent under Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR. You can unsubscribe at any time via the link in every email, withdrawing your consent. beehiiv processes the data on our behalf; a transfer to the USA takes place.
4. Embedded content (CDN)
On individual product pages (Sqwod Verified), the JavaScript library “three.js” is loaded from the cdnjs CDN (Cloudflare, Inc., USA) for the 3D product viewer. This transmits your IP address to Cloudflare. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in a functional presentation).
5. Contact & forms
If you contact us by email or submit a form (e.g. the press-release submission), we process the data you provide in order to handle your request. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) or (f) GDPR. The data is deleted once it is no longer needed for that purpose.
6. No cookies, no tracking
This website sets no cookies and uses no analytics, tracking, or advertising tools.
7. Your rights
You have the right to access (Art. 15), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20), and to object to processing (Art. 21 GDPR).
