Brooks Ghost 18 vs Nike Pegasus 42
Sqwod verdict
Dead heat — 81 vs 81. Your use case is the tiebreaker.
Both are strong — the call comes down to what you prioritise:
- Brooks Ghost 18 — You coach beginners or neutral heel-strikers who need a stable, durable, foolproof shoe for daily easy miles.
- Nike Pegasus 42 — You coach beginner-to-intermediate athletes who need one dependable, cushioned neutral trainer for daily easy mileage.
Brooks Ghost 18
81Score · Medium
from €127.99
A dependable, durable neutral daily trainer that does everything competently and nothing excitingly — safe over spectacular.
Nike Pegasus 42
81Score · Medium
from €94.90
A dependable, well-built neutral daily trainer that nails comfort and durability but rides average — a safe workhorse, not an exciting one.
