Apple Watch Series 11
All-round smartwatch
The battery finally goes the distance — up to 24 hours — and hypertension notifications plus 5G land real health wins. But it's an iterative jump: Series 9 and 10 owners gain little, and the cheaper SE undercuts it.

Pros
- Up to 24h battery — finally a full day-plus of use
- Hypertension notifications + Sleep Score (watchOS 26)
- Brighter, more scratch-resistant display; 5G
Cons
- Iterative — little new vs Series 10
- Most software perks reach older watches via watchOS 26
- The cheaper Watch SE 3 is better value for most
Who it's for
Buy it if…
You're upgrading from a Series 6 or older and want the best all-round Apple Watch — real battery life, brighter screen, and the new health alerts, with no subscription.
Skip it if…
You already own a Series 9 or 10 — watchOS 26 gives you most of the software wins for free, so the upgrade case is thin.
The Apple Watch Series 11 succeeds the Series 9 (with the Series 10 in between) and its headline win is the one owners actually feel: battery life rated up to 24 hours, plus new hypertension notifications, a Sleep Score, a brighter and more durable display, and a jump from LTE to 5G. It remains the best all-round smartwatch — no subscription, deep app ecosystem, ECG and now blood-pressure signals.
The catch is that it’s an iterative upgrade. The design is largely unchanged from the Series 10, and most of the software wins arrive on older watches through watchOS 26 — so if you own a Series 9 or 10, there’s little reason to move. That’s why the value case, not the hardware, is what holds it just short of the top.
